MISSION

SEEDnet’s mission is to reach spiritually, emotionally, economically, and developmentally oppressed people groups, proclaim the Gospel, and give them their own churches. It’s all about our simple church model.

Since planting our first church in 2006, God has been at work! Thousands have come to Christ, and hundreds of churches have been planted across seven states. Today, we are ministering to more than 800 people across the United States.

Our reach has also expanded internationally, with countless simple church plants flourishing in Africa and leadership development efforts growing in Asia.

We’ve witnessed incredible transformation—lives changed, baptisms celebrated, and communities opened to the Gospel where we were once outsiders. Through it all, God’s faithfulness has been undeniable!

We take the Great Commission seriously, which is why we are committed to making disciples among as many people groups as possible. Within SEED communities, different people groups often live separately, maintaining their own customs and ways of life. As we continue pressing into SEED areas, we actively seek out and identify these groups, allowing us to engage them more intentionally and effectively.

people group is commonly defined as an ethnolinguistic community that shares a distinct self-identity, along with a common history, culture, and customs. Reaching a new people group—whether abroad or within the United States—requires intentionally crossing barriers such as language and cultural differences. With a focused approach, we strive to build genuine connections and share the Gospel in ways that truly resonate.

AMBASSADORS IN THE MISSION

God’s heart is not only for reaching more people but for reaching every people group. He calls us to be ambassadors in this mission, bringing the Gospel to those who have never heard it. Our mission is to reach unreached people groups through church planting, where disciples make new disciples, spreading the name of Jesus and transforming lives, relationships, and entire communities.

The theme of people groups is woven throughout Scripture, both in the Old and New Testaments. In the book of Acts, we see a clear focus on taking the Gospel to unreached places—breaking through barriers to reach Samaritans, Gentiles, and others once considered outsiders. As SEEDnet continues to follow the Lord’s leading into various SEED areas, we also seek to engage specific people groups when He opens those doors.

“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations [people groups], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’”

— Matthew 28:18-20 (ESV)
